Illo.Minn Gets Legs

The Illo.Minn show has picked up and moved to Art Org in Northfield, MN.  Check out www.artorg.info.

Illustrator and founder of The Illustration Academy John English and his father legendary illustrator and fine artist Mark English will be in Northfield for a presentation at St. Olaf College, 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 13th.  The Illo.Minn @ Art Org show opens immediately following the presentation.  Address and directions to the gallery can be found at www.artorg.info.

A lunchtime presentation at CVA is tentatively scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 11:30. Stay tuned for more details. 

"Meaning and Metaphor" at UW Eau Claire

The latest 3x3 Illustration Annual is now available on newsstands.  Illo.Minn participant James O'Brien had TWO pieces selected for inclusion!  Way to go Jim!!  

Illo.Minn Moderated Discussion Tonight

Join us at the CVA Gallery this evening from 6-7:30 p.m. for a panel discussion moderated by show curator Andy Powell. Our distinguished panel includes Julie Delton, Lyndsey Lesh, Kirk Lyttle, James O'Brien, Sean Tubridy, Adam Turman and Ulana Zahajkewycz. 

Strong turnout for Illo.Minn opening night

Approximately 200 people attended the opening of Illo.Minn Thursday, Jan. 24.  The show features current Minnesota Illustrator's personal and commercial work, and will be up until February 9.
